I have an AFL jumper that I'd like to remove the number and replace with a different one. How can I do this?Is it possible to remove iron-on numbers from footy jumpers and how?
Set your iron to the lowest setting and iron over the letters until you can see a corner start to lift, then pick up that corner and peel the letter back. Once you've removed the numbers, there will be a sticky residue left on the garment. There doesn't seem to be any way to get the residue off without ruining the garment. Maybe you could use it the way it is for working around the house and yard, then buy a new one that bears the number you want. .
