Do you believe that Causcuses accurately represent the rest of the population, since they are smaller numbers?

In the states that have the caucuses, the numbers of people showing up are smaller numbers than what each primary has in their represented states. It is easier for people to vote on ballots or send in absentee ballots then to make it to a ';town Meeting'; arena.Do you believe that Causcuses accurately represent the rest of the population, since they are smaller numbers?
Absolutely not. Texas demonstrated that quite well.

All nominating contests should be primaries, not caucuses. Caucuses are used because they are paid for by the party, but they leave too many people out and are subject to coercion. They are discriminatory to people with families who can't arrange for childcare, elderly who are homebound and vote absentee, military who are overseas and obviously not able to attend the caucus, and people who have mobility problems. Caucus-goers are subject to coercion, since the ';vote'; is public. If your boss is at the caucus and sees you on the opposite side, how does this help your chances of getting that promotion or raise? If your pastor is on the other side, how will you be viewed in your church? Caucuses are riots waiting to happen and are un-American.Do you believe that Causcuses accurately represent the rest of the population, since they are smaller numbers?
No they don't. They disenfranchise many voters for various reasons such as those with conflicting work hours, the elderly, and many other demographic groups. Everyone should be heard.
no.
In my opinion, no I don't think they represent the rest of the population. For the reason you said, but also a lot of people don't really understand what a caucuses is, so they don't even bother, and the ones who do, don't always want to spend all of that time that it takes to hold a caucus. In past caucuses, there usually aren't more then a couple of hundred people who even show up for a caucuses. This year is an exception. But it is not the norm.
no and they are more popular in urban areas. Most people in Wyoming didnt even know where to go/
