Choose to Refuse prevents unwanted or nuisance calls getting through to you.
How does it work?
If you frequently receive unwanted or nuisance calls from a particular number, you can block that number from getting through to you. This ensures your peace of mind and, if later on you change your mind, you can lift the block and allow the caller to contact you again.
You can also sign up to ';Anonymous Call Reject'; (BT).
Anonymous Call Reject allows you to bar calls being made from withheld numbers.
How does it work?

Once you have a large integer value you can use the math function of modular (usually MOD) in order to setup a way to get a value within a certain range. The modular function gives you the division remainder of a number when devided by a passed value. So, lets say you have a large number like 9999876 you can use 9999876 MOD(100) to find a number between 0 and 99 since any large, positive number divided my 100 will give you a remainder of 0 to 99. Change around the MOD(100) part to get different ranges.

How do I remove the BOLD on some numbered bullet points using WORD 2000?
I have a long document in WORD 2000 which has numbered bullet points. Some of these bullet numbers are BOLD for some reason and I don't know how to remove them or why they are there. Any idea how to remove these would be great. It's only the numbering that appears in BOLD not the associated text and the points before and after these numbers are fine?? We should seek them out and deport them---and then charge their country of origin for our trouble in dealing with their citizens.
If a person is not going to respect our laws when they come here, why would I believe that after citizenship they will suddenly start to respect our laws? We don't have the resources to care for our own legal citizens and we certainly don't have the funds to support the law-breaking citizens of another country.

Does anyone know the LAW in Canada regarding the printing of full credit card numbers on receipts?
I just had a run-in with a gas station attendant when I scribbled through the middle digits of my card number. He informed me I could not do that. My understanding is that only a limited portion of the cc number is now printed so dumpster divers go unrewarded. Hmmm. I do not believe there are any restrictions on the numbers appearing on the receipt, for credit cards. That goes for Debit transactions too. Be really careful with your copy. Take it home and destroy it. All it takes is someone to see you enter your PIN and then pick your receipt from the trash.
Call one of the credit counselling agencies in your province. They will certainly know. In the US, it depends on individual state law. North Carolina only passed this law just last year.

Where do I locate the firing order numbers on the spark plug wires?
I have Bosch spark plug wires and a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, the wires have the numbers 29, 34, 43 to state a few but at the same time they also have another number e.g. KW 143, KW 134 etc. I don't know how to match them up??????Where do I locate the firing order numbers on the spark plug wires?

Aftermarket plug wires usually do not have the numbers printed on them.

How do i switch my mobile telephone numbers (AT&T and Verizon)?
I have two cell phones on two different accounts one with verizon and an iphone with AT%26amp;T. I wanted to switch my phone number that is currently on the verizon account to my iPhone. The number that is currently on the iPhone doesn't really matter, but it would be more convenient to also switch that number onto my Verizon cell phone.
In other words, i'm simply trying to swap the two telephone numbers. How can i do this?

This is a magical word called ';number porting';. At%26amp;t and verizon both have this and they can bring your number from your old carrier to the at%26amp;t network. Same with verizon only vise versa. It sound like you don't want to inconvienance people by having to call them and give them your new number. But to be truthfull, its just going to be harder for you to do this than it would be for them to just change your phone number in their address book.
The easiest thing to do is to just do this. Call at%26amp;t and tell them that you already have service but you are looking to port a number from verizon onto at%26amp;t. They will then port the number and they MIGHT be able to make that your iPhone number. When you ';port'; your phone number, it will automatically shut off verizon wireless.
Then your next step is to call verizon and tell them that you would like to sign up for new service but you already have a phone. They will allow you to use your phone but will have to charge you startup fees like activation and they will give you a new phone number
SO to recap:

Dollars and cents are real numbers. You use them every time you buy or sell something. Dollars and cents only use 2 digits after the decimal point, but look at a gasoline pump the next time you are at a service station. Prices have 3 digits after the decimal point,the last digit is always ';9';, gotta squeeze that extra .9 cents per gallon out of the customer.
