Do you think Jordan would have such gaudy numbers if he played now, with zone defenses being legal?

One on one, you couldn't stop Jordan.

So many times you saw the Bulls set up isolation for Jordan; four guys on one side of the basket and Jordan on the other.

Now, you see a lot of skip passes because defenses are able to play zone. Not saying Jordan wouldn't still be awesome, just would he have been as other-worldly?Do you think Jordan would have such gaudy numbers if he played now, with zone defenses being legal?
exactly. Thats how Jordan would attack the rim cause the defense would not be there in time. Now a days when you get guys like Kobe and LeBron isolation there are already 2 defenders waiting for them at the rim. Jordans Number would still be great, but it would never be like how they are now. in all honesty too, he number would be almost exactly like Kobe's.Do you think Jordan would have such gaudy numbers if he played now, with zone defenses being legal?
No because he would have to play in a league of players of his style like Kobe against players like Bowen, Artest, Prince, LJ, ect. he played in a watered down era with a great team. They won 55 games without him the year he quit. LA wouldnt win 55 games if kobe quit today
Actually, Jordan still plays with the Bobcats during their practices and as i can see there, he still have his moves but a little rusty, but the game is still there, if ever Jordan is still playing today, maybe he'll average like 12 - 14 PPG. But don't expect him to dunk like ol' days. LOL
Yes he would have those numbers and the ';zone'; NBA teams play is hardly a zone. A true zone is what the college and international teams play.
I think the zone would've brought a degree of mitigation for sure.

His court intelligence is not what everyone thinks it was.
No one will ever stop MJ. MJ is the greatest of all time and always will be at anytime.
You have too much time on your hands.
Yes!!!
