Is there a buttton on calculators that will convert numbers to scientific notation?
For example:
0.003010053 is a number given from a question is there a button that will auto convert it to scientific notation?Convert numbers to Scientific notation with a calculator?

it depends on wat type of calculator you have. I have a TI-30XIIS and it converts it into scientific notation by just entering in the number and then pressing 2nd, SCI/ENG and choosing the SCI option. TI-34 convert it too i think but im not sure how.
depends what calculator.
i dont think u can do it w. a TI 83 but i no u can do it with the 84
