How old will you be when you graduate? If you can answer that, you used addition of real numbers.How do we use Addition of Real Numbers in our lives?
Dollars and cents are real numbers. You use them every time you buy or sell something. Dollars and cents only use 2 digits after the decimal point, but look at a gasoline pump the next time you are at a service station. Prices have 3 digits after the decimal point,the last digit is always ';9';, gotta squeeze that extra .9 cents per gallon out of the customer.

Seriously? Well, all monetary transaction for one. Any time you use a clock or a measuring device of any kind, well at least if you want the data to have any useful meaning. There are sooo many possible answers here I'll just leave you with those. We manipulate real numbers all the time.
