It is a security keypad on a Liftmaster 1/3 HP garage door opener. Part # for the motor is 41A5483-1B. Keypad is clickmaster no model # listed. No instructions came with house...How can I re-program the numbered keypad (not the push button) on my automatic garage door opener?
on the back of liftmaster is a large white button hold until light blinks then go to remote punch in 4 numbers (1,2,3,4) light will blink twice its now programedHow can I re-program the numbered keypad (not the push button) on my automatic garage door opener?
No offense intended but the above answer isn't correct. If you hold the ';learn button'; on the back of your opener until the light flashes, that means you've cleared out the receiver's memory and your hand-held remotes (if you have any) will no longer work either. To program a keypad (assuming the ';clickmaster'; is compatible) you press and release the learn button on the back of your opener - do not hold it in. You should see a small light next to the learn button come on and stay lit. You now have about 30 seconds to get to the keypad, punch in your desired 4-digit code, and hold the 'enter' button on the keypad until you hear the opener click (or the light bulb will flash if you have a bulb installed). That's it. Now you just punch in the code to test it out. Hope this helps you!
